For some teens, Christmas break is exciting. There’s no school, they have a lot of fun things to do, and they receive a lot of nice presents. They look forward to it every year and it’s a total blast.
For other teens, though, Christmas break isn’t nearly as fun. It involves family problems, boredom, and few friends or loved ones. In other words, winter break is fun for most popular kids, but not so for the unpopular kids. But, even if you’re unpopular, here are tips to be popular over Christmas break.
Take the Initiative
If you are bored over Christmas break, then take the initiative and invite some over. Or, find a way to make new ones by attending a Christmas event with other teens (like a church youth group or community gathering). Take charge of your own life and don’t wait for others to do it for you.
Christmas break is usually about two weeks. That’s more than enough time to get started in a new routine of bettering yourself. Ask your parents for a gym membership or fitness program and start losing weight. Revamp your wardrobe. Whatever you pick, use those two weeks to improve yourself and become a more excellent, popular person.
Keep A Positive Outlook
Finally, keep a positive outlook. You might be tempted to mope and be negative for the time you’re off. Don’t, however. Try to be positive and find ways to better yourself. No one wants to hang out with a negative person, especially around the holidays. If you have a friendly, happy attitude, you’ll find that people will want to be around you.
Enjoy your break and best of luck being popular!
