Valentine’s Day is here at last. If you have a boyfriend or girlfriend, it’s likely a fun day. If you are alone, then I’m sure every second of watching other couples is a horrible reminder of your loneliness.
Valentine’s Day is actually just another day. In fact, your friends buying stuff for their dates is in many ways a waste of money. Advertising agencies have basically convinced them that this random day somehow requires expensive gifts.
Still, there’s nothing wrong with using this day to reflect a little. Are you unpopular? Are you dateless? If you answered yes to both these questions then you’re not alone (well, maybe you technically are).
However, dating and popularity aren’t magical things that people receive as gifts. They require skills and attitudes. The popular people who have constant dates have the right attitude and the skills to achieve those statuses. You and the other unpopular dateless ones? You lack the right attitude and skills.
But, the good news is that attitudes can be changed and skills can be learned. So, you might be alone on Valentine’s Day 2014, but if you start working now, you can easily have a date by next Valentine’s Day. Keep checking back here for advice and resources to be your best. That includes making friends and getting dates.
