No one loses weight without cutting calories (or upping exercise considerably). If you want to take off any weight, from ten pounds to one hundred, you’ll have to cut back on your eating. And, you’ll need to keep track. Fortunately, apps like My Fitness Pal are perfect for it. Sign up online or on your smart phone.
Make sure that you stick to the calorie goals that you have set too (with the help of a program or professional). Also, the calories you do take in should involve healthy foods like vegetables.
While it’s possible to lose weight without exercise, adding in exercise definitely speeds up the process and gives you a fit, toned look. Remember that anything that gets you moving counts as exercise. While some workouts are better than others in terms of burning calories, don’t feel you have to run ten miles. Walk, play basketball, lift weights, etc.
Try to find an activity you enjoy and stick with it. Try to do it 3-4 times a week at least. Combined with eating less you should lose weight successfully. The reason you want to combine exercise with a good diet is that studies show that exercise alone often doesn’t work to cause weight loss; it has to be paired with diet.
