We define popularity in a positive, inclusive sense. This includes being a positive leader, increasing self-esteem, standing up to bullies, making friends across all social groups, and learning the skills needed to succeed in business and other fields as an adult.
This caused him to research successful, attractive, popular people to see which traits and actions made them such popular and amazing people.
He devoted years of research to studying the “science” of attraction (including such areas as neuroscience, evolutionary biology, and psychology) and as a result created practical, simple tips to become more popular.
The information was so life changing (to himself and others) that he needed to share it with others. This resulted in The Popular Teen (and The Popular Man).
He has partnered with Dating Directions/Affinity Matchmaking, the largest matchmakers in the Columbus, Ohio metro area, helping men, women, and their kids become more confident and attractive through consulting, public speaking, classes, and writing. With teens, he primarily focuses on social skills development, anti-bullying efforts, positive leadership, and raising self-esteem.
He has a Bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and a Master’s degree from Emory University. He is a certified counselor, administrator at a counseling facility, business owner, and part-time professor. He is the author of five non-fiction books and regularly contributes articles to several websites. His writings have been referenced by diverse sources such as The New York Times, BBC, and Huffington Post. His primary hobby is fitness related activities and he loves running extreme races like the Tough Mudder.

David Bennett is a teacher, author, and speaker. He is high school teacher at a private school in Ohio, with over ten years of teaching experience. His writings are read over a million times a year online, and have been referenced in many media outlets, including the New York Times, Huffington Post, and the BBC.
He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Ohio University, and a Master’s Degree from Emory University. Drawing on personal experience in the classroom, and scientific research into the science of social success and popularity, he speaks, consults, and leads classes related to dating, relationships, and social skills in the central Ohio area. Justyn Greene is currently a student at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio where he is majoring in business and film studies. He graduated from Gilmour Academy in Northeast Ohio where he played several sports and was involved in many clubs. He enjoys sports, movies, and spending time with friends. He is currently working on a screenplay.
